Entering a new market can be a daunting task. When the market is extremely crowded, the task could doubly be difficult. That was why Arabus Coffee came for help as it planned to introduce its products in Malaysia for the first time. We started with in-depth research and used the insight to craft advertisement campaigns targeting specific groups of prospective customers.
Results
We applied target-location tactics to promote brand awareness of Arabus Coffee in Malaysia. Once it gained traction, we amped up the campaign and picked the right timing for product rollout. On the first sale event at a shopping mall, Arabus Coffee was sold out, with consumers left searching for more of its products. The positive momentum allowed the company to follow up with another market entry in another neighboring country, Singapore.
