TOPS Supermarket has a strong franchise name among Thai households. People don't have to think twice if they want to buy a basket of goodies as a new year gift. But most of the times, this kind of gift isn't particularly memorable. The company then would like consumers to regard TOPS as a provider of gift baskets that make special impression. If successful, this initiative could make customers see TOPS in a new positive light.
Results
Jenosize created a plan to add a "premium" image for TOPS through the launch of its new year baskets that contain imported goods. We were able to pull off online and onsite campaigns to reposition TOPS's brand of new year basket. Throughout the process, creative thinking was introduced among TOPS employees. The change, therefore, impacts the way the company thinks of product development as customers would be thrilled about the more premium goods added to TOPS new year baskets.
