Engineering Manager

Jenosize Digital Group, a leading innovator in Thailand's marketing and technology space, seeks a passionate and results-oriented Engineering Manager to join our growing team. You will play a pivotal role in leading and inspiring a team of talented engineers to develop and deliver cutting-edge solutions for our marketing technology products (Brandverse, Jenosize Marketing Cloud, HappyWork). Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership & Hands-on Collaboration:
• Provide technical direction and guidance to the engineering team, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with engineers on complex technical challenges, offering solutions through pairing sessions or code reviews or coding complexity function.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and trends relevant to Jenosize's products and the marketing technology industry.
• Participate in technical discussions and contribute to the overall product roadmap and architecture.
• Identify and evaluate new technologies to enhance Jenosize's engineering capabilities.

• Team Leadership & Development:
• Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing engineering culture.
• Coach and develop engineers to grow their technical skills and careers within Jenosize, including promoting a culture of code review and knowledge sharing.
• Recruit, interview, and hire top engineering talent to build a strong and diverse engineering team.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to help engineers achieve their goals.

• Project Management & Delivery:
• Work closely with product managers and designers to break down product features into manageable tasks for the engineering team.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets for assigned engineering projects.
• Track project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure timely and successful project delivery.
• Foster clear communication and collaboration between engineering, product, and design teams.

• Process Improvement & Innovation:
• Continuously evaluate and improve Jenosize's engineering processes and methodologies (e.g., Agile, DevOps) to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Implement tools and practices that promote collaboration, code quality, automated testing, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD).
• Encourage a culture of innovation within the engineering team and explore opportunities for technical improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer with a proven track record of success, including experience with coding in relevant languages (technologies may vary, specify in the actual job description).
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in a leadership role within a software development team.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Effective communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor a team of engineers.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
